Requirements for the role | Nga whakaritenga mo te mahi

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a customer service environment

  • Height between 163cm-186cm (must be able to reach 212cm)

  • Minimum 18 years of age

  • Safety conscious and reliable, available for shift work 24/7, 365 days per year

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and personal presentation 

  • Willing to obtain a full physical pre-employment medical check with a Qantas-approved provider, at your own cost 

  • Ability to swim 50 metres fully clothed and tread water for 3 minutes unaided 

  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency with unlimited working rights

  • Hold a valid passport ensuring unrestricted access to all ports that Jetstar fly 

  • Available for a ground school commencement in January 2023, with the ability to commit to 5 weeks of training to be held in Auckland, with the potential for travel to Australia
